Referral Competition Terms & Conditions

1. The Organizer

This competition is operated by Hidden Diversion Recreational Services, Dubai, United Arab Emirates, trading as Kattegat.

2. The Competition

Kattegat is awarding 30,000: 15,000 for first place, 10,000 for second place, and 5,000 for third place.

3. Competition Period

The competition closes at 23:59 Gulf Standard Time on 30 January 2027. Only successful referrals attributed after a member accepts these terms and joins, and before the closing time, count.

4. Who May Enter

Registered Kattegat members with an active referral code may enter by explicitly accepting these terms. Kattegat employees, owners, management, and their immediate family members are not eligible for prizes.

5. What Counts

Competition referrals already counted under earlier rules remain counted and are not reset. A referral attributed under v1.2 becomes countable when the new member signs up through your referral link or code during the competition period, verifies their email, keeps an active account, adds their name, uploads a profile image, and provides their phone number, country, region, and city. SMS verification is not required. No waiting period, marketplace action, subscription, or payment is required. Unverified, incomplete, inactive, fake, duplicate, self-referred, suspended, banned, deleted, or otherwise ineligible accounts do not count.

6. Qualifying Thresholds

A participant needs at least 100 successful referrals for first place, 50 for second place, or 25 for third place.

7. How Winners Are Decided

Participants are ranked by successful referrals. A tie is resolved in favour of the participant who reached the tied count first. Each participant may win only one prize.

8. Unclaimed Prizes

If no participant meets a prize threshold, that prize is not awarded and is added to the next Kattegat referral competition prize pool.

9. Verification and Fair Play

Counts are reviewed after the competition closes and before prizes are paid. Kattegat may check account age, profile completion, marketplace activity, signup attribution, device and network patterns, contact details, and other fraud indicators. Shared devices or networks may trigger review but do not automatically cause rejection. Self-referrals, fake or duplicate accounts, circular arrangements, automated signups, manipulated activity, and fraud may be removed and may result in disqualification.

10. Announcement and Payment

Winners are announced within 14 days after closing and paid in by bank transfer within 30 days of announcement, subject to identity verification.

11. Changes

Kattegat may amend, extend, or end the competition with 14 days' notice in the app where reasonably practicable. Existing participants and their grandfathered counts remain ranked, but a material change to eligibility or counting rules requires renewed acceptance before a participant can view the leaderboard or receive a prize. Fraud-prevention and integrity checks may be applied to all referrals before prizes are confirmed.

12. General

The competition does not affect standard referral earnings. These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates.
