La Plage returns to West Beach Palm Jumeirah

La Plage by La Maison Ani returns to Palm West Beach on 1 October. French Mediterranean plates, pool, and cabanas by the sea.

La Plage by La Maison Ani is back on the sand at Palm West Beach. A&E Magazine reported on 30 September 2026 that the French Mediterranean beach house returns on 1 October after two seasons at West Beach and a summer residency at Hacienda White in Egypt. Sea light. Sharing plates. A day that can start on a lounger and end at the table.

This is not another Palm strip that sells a skyline shot and a capacity cell. It sells the feeling of staying by the water with friends and family, and letting the meal move with the light.

West Beach and a French Mediterranean house

La Plage sits at The Club on West Palm Beach, Palm Jumeirah. A&E Magazine frames the return under the clearer La Maison Ani name after the room spent earlier seasons as Maison de la Plage. Chef Izu Ani and Fundamental Hospitality partner Evgeny Kuzin put the beach house in the same chapter as La Maison Ani and La Petite Ani. That helps buyers briefing a Palm beach day, a French Mediterranean lunch by the pool, or a cabana brief that needs one clear story.

The venue contact page points planners to +971 4 452 3344 and reservations@laplagebylamaisonani.com. Beach hours run from 12.00 PM to sunset. Restaurant, lounge and pool run from 12.00 PM to 11.00 PM. Sellers reading the floor hear a day-to-night set. Sand. Pool. Cabanas. Then dinner as the Palm turns over.

The emotional problem this room solves is simple. Plenty of beach briefs stall between a lounger that cannot hold a proper meal and a hotel dining script with no sea air. La Plage sells the bridge. Sit for lunch. Pass the plates. Stay for the water and the conversation.

Plates for the sea and the table

A&E Magazine lists La Maison Ani favourites on the beach menu. Salad Niçoise. Escargot in garlic butter with anchovies. The Izu Burger. Wider sharing plates sit beside them for a table that wants to linger by the sea.

Those lines come from the press note. They help a buyer lock a West Beach meal without inventing a menu from thin air. Sellers hear French Mediterranean kitchen craft, beach service that can carry food to cabanas, and hosts who keep warmth while families move between sand, pool and restaurant.

Later in the season A&E Magazine says La Plage will add three market areas. A green market for fresh produce. A fish market where guests choose catch and preparation. A meat market with sharing cuts, including a dry-aged selection unique to this room among Chef Izu’s venues. The idea draws on French markets he knew while living in Normandy. Ingredients and choice at the centre of the meal.

Cabana, pool and a day that stretches

The press note puts restaurant, beach, pool, cabanas and lounge in one brief. Families can use beach, pool and restaurant. Private cabanas hold a more secluded set. Guests move between dining, time by the water and drinks as the day progresses.

Chef Izu Ani, quoted in A&E Magazine, says food has always been a way for him to bring people together, and that he wants people to come for a meal, stay by the sea, and feel as welcome with family and friends as they would in his home. That is the feeling buyers should brief first. Not a spreadsheet cell. Not a capacity number with no soul.

What this means for Kattegat buyers and sellers

Buyers, start with the feeling you want, not a capacity cell. Palm West Beach. La Plage by La Maison Ani. When the brief is a French Mediterranean beach day, a cabana lunch that can stretch into sunset, or a family table that needs sand and proper plates in one place, you now have a room that is named and a season story that is live.

Sellers, read the floor. Beach from midday to sunset. Restaurant, lounge and pool into the evening. Salad Niçoise. Escargot. Sharing seafood. Cabanas and pool hosts. That is work for kitchen teams who can hold French Mediterranean plates, floor talent who can carry a day from lounger to dinner, and planners who need one clear West Beach story instead of a rate card with no feeling.

Kattegat sits in the middle. Venues need people who show up. Talent needs rooms that book. Planners need one place where both sides tell the story straight.

We did not invent Dubai hospitality. We turned the trade we already live into a system buyers and sellers can run from the pocket. Days like La Plage at West Beach are why the marketplace exists.

Book the table, brief the set

If you are locking a Palm beach day, a French Mediterranean lunch by the pool, or talent for a room that already holds sea energy, start with the feeling and the set, not capacity alone.
